The journey of the turtle resembles that of Ulysses in the number of parameters influencing how one will find his way, while at the same time in the heartfelt hopefulness of reaching one's island, which in our case is not Ithaca but Zakynthos. It denotes to Homer and the wandering of Ulysses who's journeys resemble the roaming of the sea turtle across the Mediterranean waters in its anguish, dangers and hardship. An initiative with environmental sensitivity, great scientific interest and a substantive contribution in the elevation of tourism on a new, 'greener' base.
